The Entrance Walk 1, Central Coast, NSW

A 2.1 km return walk along The Entrance foreshore to the town centre.

The Entrance, NSW, boardwalk
Near the start of the walk at the Entrance, NSW looking back to the surf club behind the pine tree.
A scenic short walk on a wide timbered and paved walkway. We walked down Dening Street to the start of Marine Parade where the Entrance Surf Club is located. The walkway commences here. Along the walk there are lovely views up the coast across The Entrance channel. Seats are located in  many convenient spots where you can sit and admire the view. As we wandered down the gently sloping path we noticed a number of ships along the horizon waiting their turn to enter Newcastle harbour. Upon reaching the town centre there are many cafes to select from for a cuppa and bite to eat. There is an excellent children's playground located in the town centre. After a leisurely coffee while soaking up the morning sunshine we retraced our steps.
